I am finding I'm not wanting to eat. I have no interest in eating but I force myself to eat. Anyone else ever had this before? I need some help as to how I can get back to eating normally again as I'm feeling pretty Light headed as I'm not eating enough.

Anxiety and food

Hi Anxious2befree,
We’re on the same boat. It’s like your just forcing yourself to eat for the sake that you need to eat because you must and you can’t miss a meal.
I was like this from months ago, and I lost heaps of kilograms (from 84 down to 66). My ideal weight is 58-72kgs. What a great way to loose weight isn’t? But no no no! I felt scared and so what I did was to eat small amounts of food from time to time. I usually eat 7am - 9am - 12nn - 3pm - 6pm and even have midnight snacks. Eventually, I re-gain my appetite back. I am now 69kgs.
Don't worry about that one at all. It's almost impossible to have "failure to thrive" as a big person. You will get hungry again.
In the mean time, try things that smell really good to you. For 6 months I could not get anything down me, more than a fried egg and cheese on toast in the AM and Chicken noodle soup at dinner. I was able to take vitamins.
When I got my thoughts to calm down, I got hungry again. The first [ real?] food I ate { again} was an {entire pecan chocolate chip pie from Cracker Barrel) and then I was back to eating ............everything
