Memory loss from Anxiety???
Yes, I do feel like I’m a little more forgetful sometimes. Whether or not it’s from the anxiety, medication I don’t know. It is a little bit worrisome.
God bless.
David
I think memory loss is from anxiety. When I get anxious, I get forgetful.
Yes I find I am forgetful too a lot I even forgot to pay a few bills as to this issue and starting new mood stabilizers so for me I think the combo .. and yes I worry when this happens to me too on a daily basis .. anxiety sucks
I think the forgetfulness could be both? so I'm not sure because I don't take my medication consistently. That worries me because sometimes I just go blank.
I sometimes forget what day of the week it is? trouble staying focused and in my case possibly maybe dementia it runs in my family.
Yep I'm the same
Same. I think it’s from anxiety. I get so in my head it’s hard to concentrate and recall. Alzheimer’s runs in my family but I’m 41 so I don’t think that’s it.
Your medicine could have something to do with it also. I’m on Ativan just as needed and when I take it for a couple days it makes me feel mentally foggy and forgetful.
It has to do with where your concentration is. I know what that feels like for sure. When u have anxiety, your attention is on that almost all the time. When it it subsides, u should get better with the concentration.
Hey, yeah I suffer with this lots, since my anxiety started it is really hard to remember stuff, also attention, I cannot get through a book or concentrate for long time
Totally happens to me. I have been super forgetful ever since the worst of my anxiety and depression hit at 13 years old.
Its bad,it causes focus issues, memory problems and other things
Yes i also have really bad memory loss with anxiey i have to right most things dwn & tick them off.
