Has anyone had breathlessness like they have smoked to much. Had it for over a week now.

Feeling shakey all over today it is making me panic like thereis something really wrong along with the breathlessness. I take citalopram 10mg and sometimes propranalol 40mg

Hi, so are the medications you taking not working? Or did you just start them? I'm sorry you feel this way. I get that way too, and I never smoked. I hope you are feeling better.

I have just started taking citalopram so they have obviously not completely kicked in yet. So u get the breathlessness too? And body shaking?

Only when I have a full-blown panic attack which I haven't had in months. The breathlessness I get anytime I do anything physical, even just slowly walking just a few feet. I walk a few feet and it feels like I ran a marathon, and I am not obese, on the other hand, I am very skinny and walk all the time. I've been able to fight off the feelings of panic when they start. It is hard and tiring though.

Do u ever feel like wjen u eat or drink it is not going all the way down? Just feels like one thing after another today.

Sometimes. I get choking sensations or I swallow something "the wrong way." I have chronic sinusitis and can't breathe through my nose, so when I chew I sometimes breathe through my mouth at the same time and get bits of food into my windpipe. I also get out of breath just chewing, and after each bite need to take a deep breath.
