So I've been worrying lately that I might have some kind of full on cancer, is it a doable thing to go to the doctors and get a full blood test for cancer? Or does anyone else get this? I usually have some kind of ache in places and worry it has spread. I have of course been getting a bit of dizziness possibly due to my worrying, which makes me worry that something is going on in my head too, and the odd sharp pain in my chest that can make me grow concerned about a heart attack. And my sleep is suffering terribly so i feel tired so much lately.

.Afraid you are asking for the community to be doctors. Please call your doctor about these matters. A blood test is not going to answer your very broad concern. XX
I forgot to day, I have had multiple ECGs EGGs and they all came back fine, and they assume my dizziness is due to anxiety. I wasn't asking the group for a diagnosis, just advice and support if anyone else has been through the same worries.
Thanks anyway though for the comment 😁
I don’t see how you asked the community for a “diagnosis” at all. You clearly asked for advice about going to your Dr and getting blood work. I hope that persons commebt didn’t make you feel like you’re alone in the way your HA makes you feel because you’re not at all. WE ALL come here for the same exact reason you posted today, take a look at my posts and you’ll see we have a lot in common. Anyway, I would suggest for your peace of mind to go to your Dr and get the blood work done. It’s called CBC (complete blood count) they check for all of that. After you get your good results back, it should ease your mind a lot. I won’t say eliminate your anxiety because doing that will take hard work from you, but for peace of mind, yes, the blood work
I know what you're going through. As I'm going through the same feelings, I've had health anxiety for the last (almost) year, and my newest problem is thinking I have some sort of cancer. Going to your doctor is the best thing you can do to get answers. That always helps me and reassures me, especially when I can get tests done.
I am constantly having some kind of ache or pain due to my health anxiety. Anxiety can make you feel the way it wants you too feel. I'm not saying you shouldn't see your doctor, I'm only saying that I'm always having aches and pains related to anxiety, so that's what it could be.
I know How you feel. I've been in this situation before with health anxiety. It literally makes you feel like you have all these illnesses and diseases. It's really crazy what anxiety makes us think and feel. If you ever need to talk message me
It's just nice to have the support I'll be honest. In my worse anxiety states it's hard to think rationally.. which is why this community is so good to have around.
I have health anxiety too that started because of a heart issue two yrs ago. I have gone to the er over nothing so many times. I finally got the procedure to fix my heart issue and a week afterwards ended up with the flu and a pulmonary embolism. So now my anxiety is completely related to the PE and I am back to going to the er for different aches and pains, all ending up being nothing. My regular dr wants me to see a hematologist to make sure I don't have a blood issue and I am already dreading it because the place available to me is a cancer center. I would like to get my blood tested to make sure I don't have any disorders but I also am terrified I will have cancer which makes no sense. The blood clot is probably due to the heart procedure - they went through my veins and that runs the risk of a clot. So I probably don't have issues other than having the clot. You are totally not alone. I get super dizzy when I am anxious and that makes me feel more anxious. And have random pains that make me feel anxious.
I'm sorry you've been through all that already, and can't imagine the effect it's having on your health anxiety. It's such an awful thing to go through and you feel alone because of it. The dizziness certainly makes it worse as you can't help but focus on the dizzy feeling which makes the anxiety worse! I'm sure you'll be okay too, though the health check up will help you (even if only temporarily). Good luck! It's nice to know (in a strange way) that I'm not alone in this awful thought process.
