hi l have just started to take 10mg of Citalopram for anxiety, how long before l feel some benefit

Good Day! Citalopram is like Prozac and may take several weeks to fully work. Did you doctor prescribe a benzo to help with the transition. I tried Prozac and Zoloft for a bit but didnt like the feelings. I now just take xanax as needed. Everyone is different and you need to give meds some time to find what works for you. Try not to overthink it. Do you have a therapist that can help you through the feelings/side effects of starting Citalopram? Just take it a day by day.
