Been trying to sleep for hours but I feel like my whole body is shaking especially in my chest. Really dry mouth and tossing and turning, fast heart rate. Any idea how to get rid of this? Anxiety sucks 😔.

Do you have some tv shows or movies to watch? If you have to get up for work tomorrow I understand it's not easy to stay awake and be a zombie all day. If not, I usually pace my house for a while and find simple tasks to do. Put dishes away, clean the toilet, do some laundry, etc...It's about finding that clarity and tricking your brain into comfort again. I know how frustrating it is without sleep. You can't sleep because you're anxious and then you're beyond tired the next day and your anxiety goes crazy because of fatigue and the cycle continues day after day. I can finally sleep again this week but have to be careful I don't stay up too late because I sleep so heavy now after weeks of 2-3 hours per night that I miss my alarm. Try reading. I read a lot now and it distracts me. Hang in there!
Make a warm drink of milk with some sugar mixed in and drink it. Lie on your back and breathe in slowly, hold it for a few seconds, breathe out slowly, repeat 10 times. Eventually you will go to sleep, just don't get anxious that time is going by and you're not getting the sleep you need, your body will make sure you get at least the minimum amount of sleep necessary. Hey, here comes a large herd of sheep, start counting them, one, two, three, four...five...six...seven...zzzzzzzz...zzzzzzz...
