Eye problems on sertraline.

Hello. I was wondering if sertraline can cause eye problems? I started on 50mg last October and I felt pressure behind my eyes. They are also quite red. The gp upped my dosage to 100mg last week and my eyes are getting worse. I think it might be a side effect.

Hi - I am on 200mg of sertraline each day for anxiety and to be honest I haven’t noticed any eye issues - except last year I did get diagnosed with tri-neuralgia when I did have severe shooting pains through my eyes. Never happened again, This may have coincided with the change over to sertralinefrom a different anti depressant. I can’t really be sure. Hope you get it sorted.
