Sertraline/zoloft

Hi again I am really struggling on this medication on 50mg for just over a week (25mg for about 4 weeks prior) feel rough as hell my eyes are so sore and dry and anxiety heightened/nausea Will it improve? Fed up!

Not really feeling really anxious this week and eyes spaced!

I ended up in hospital last Thursday having only took one sertraline tablet my whole body just went nuts for days.hope you don't have any side effects like mine.

Hi, I used this medication for a while and I was ok on it!! But if it’s making you feel worse then go back to your doctors and tell them!!! There are other medications out there that may help instead!! I also go to meditation classes which I believe is great for anxiety and may help you. It’s also best to take the meds on a morning so it didn’t interfere with your sleep too much 🤞

Thanks for your reply I’ve been on it before and do remember it took a while to work but my eyes are so sore and dry and I just keep thinking something is seriously wrong with me! I will call docs on Monday for a chat. Thankyou

I know it’s difficult and our minds can run away with us sometimes but at least that way you can have your mind put at rest and maybe a solution to your eye problems 😁🤞good luck

You said you were on it before what were you like. Are these different symptoms to before? I have been on 50mg and now I take 100mg daily for the past year. I have to say it's been the best year I have had in the last 11 yrs. Before this year I was on citalopram. I thought this worked for me and I believed I just got poorly as everyone seems to get poorly even if we take the mental pills. Oh boy was I wrong. These Sertraline tablets are the ones I should have been on all those years. A waste of my life thinking I was on some that worked. They never worked but these ones do. I'm sticking with Sertraline for now! Take you self off to the docs. Not all tablets work as I found out, the long hard way.... good luck with it all
