So it's been my 5th day of recovery from my gallbladder surgery and man do I feel left behind. Mr. Motivation is having a hard time laying around while the world blows by.
I think the worst part is realizing that my good friends are so far away from me that I haven't had a single visitor and my wife (again) has no perspective on my condition and what I can or cannot do. I'm pretty alone, what a bunch of shit.
Still hurts to cough and sneeze. Feeling very Shakey and unrested because my ribs are still moving around.
Hi Dave. glad to hear your feeling better. Wish I could help you but I don't have my license or a car. I'm putting job apps trying to keep busy. my anxiety is still here but I'm taking it day by day.
Try to be patient with your recovery. It’s ok to rest let your body heal. My son just had this surgery and tried to do too much too soon. It took a couple months to really get peppy again. We wish you well.
Recovery from any surgery is the pits. Sorry, your "pits" are really getting to you. Get on your phone and talk with your friends that are not close enough to visit. It helps pass the boredom and take the opportunity to catch up with them. Been there, done that.
Hi Dave, I’m feeling real empathy for you even as a stranger! I really feel for you and how lonely you can feel with how this condition can make you feel.. I’m so pleased that you have had the operation now you have a chance to get back in n your feet, it may not feel like that at the moment. Having to now recover from this operation, but from one strange to another your not alone I’ve been nearly 7 months with Gallbladder pains and illness and waiting for my operation it’s been a nightmare getting through each month. I wish you all the luck in the world. Always here for any one that needs to know that your not alone kind regards Jo xx
