Anthony, you don't need someone on the end of the phone, all you need is yourself, you are the one to take control of your recovery. We've all had panic attacks, not nice, but nobody ever died of a panic attack, no death certificate in the world ever gave the cause of death as 'panic attack'. You know they're just a short circuit in your nerves caused by over sensitivity. Not nice I know. They're caused by fear, too much fear hormone circulating. If only you could lose your fear of panic attacks you would deny them the fuel they thrive on.

Sit comfortably, Anthony, you've probably heard of this, breathe in to the count of 3, hold it for 3, breathe out slowly to the count of 5. Hold 2 seconds and repeat. So that's 3 - 3 - 5 -2. It releases a natural tranquilising hormone but it's not instant, it will take 5 minutes or so to flood your system. If a panic attack comes just accept it for the time being and carry on.

Sit comfortably, Anthony, you haven't heard of this, feel your jaw muscle go limp, then your arms and hands go limp, feel the muscles go loose, then your legs and feet, feel them all relaxing, total 100% relaxing, and finally imagine there's a muscle where your brain is and feel that going limp. Now your whole body is unresisting. If a panic attack comes just accept it for the time being and carry on letting everything hang loose.

Try these two things, Anthony. And if a panic attack comes just accept it, laugh in its face, it's a fraud, it can't hurt you, see, you can do it, you have a panic attack and you say "Hey, I'm having a panic attack, so what? I don't like it but I don't care! I'm just going to carry on doing stuff, I know how to send it packing, just go along with it, accept it for the moment, AND IT WILL DIE OF NEGLECT BECAUSE I'M STRONGER THAN SOME FUCKING PANIC ATTACK WHICH IS ONLY A BAD FEELING, YOU DON'T SCARE ME NO MORE!"

Read this a few times, practice the two manouvres described, keep practicing until you get a result.

Anthony, you are going to be alright, you are going to be fine, just let it run its course, you'll still be here when the PA's are long gone and forgotten. And all you have to do is Accept your anxiety but only for the time being.

It's all gonna be O.K., Anthony, we've all been there AND WE KNOW!!

Buy some magnesium glycinate my friend because it will help more than anything, and very quickly too. Calm those rushing thoughts, lower that high blood pressure and calm those tired nerves of yours and lift your mood.

Drs Best chelated magnesium glycinate, try Amazon, ain't cheap but it is the best.

Hope your feeling better! I had a rough day today as well. I just had to push through it, knowing it would pass. It’s a viscous cycle, but good days are ahead. I found an app called stigma where I would journal my days and rate them by color based on how I felt. Would also put in my meds that day and if I needed to take xanax. Looking over the app over time helped to see the good days, decent days and bad days. The negative always stick out more than the good in your mind, so seeing the decent to good days is really encouraging. If you need anyone to talk to I am available. 3037201515 MST

Hi Anthony, maybe this would be helpful to you. It's a group for all kinds of mental health issues, including anxiety. They are trained to talk with you 24/7 and 100% confidential. Free of charge. It's called Samaritans Hotline. Google it. It's based in NYC. You can remain anonoymous. They have no caller ID to trace you either. The phone number is 212-673-3000. I called it to verify the number and it's them. Try it, it can't hurt. I hope this will help you!
