Once you experience tinnitus does it ever go? I'm reading that most people have it permitment. It's not so something I could ever get use to, did anybody have it through sinus or middle ear infection and it went? It's driving me mad

I've had tinnitus for years now, likely a side effect of my taking Sertraline for so long. Yes, it can be maddening but most of the time I am oblivious to it. Of course I hear it right now because I'm thinking of it. At night, I sleep with a fan on and during the day, I work in a (strangely) loud library so I rarely notice it. When I'm home, I do put on some light music just so I can trick my brain into "listening" to something else. I wish you the best and please visit your doctor. <-- I'm telling myself this too. :)

Hi, I've visited my doctor, she said I've got fluid in both ears that has bern caused by a sinus or middle ear infection, the ringing in my ears can be unbearable at times, I'm praying my hearing hasn't been damaged, thank you for your reply!
