It's morning. Snow all over the ground. The first real snow we have had this year. Christmas is coming. As a child, this was the grandest time of year. Off school, days seemed slower, and of course, all the celebrating and pretty lights and scenery that encapsulates Christmas. Anxiety is awake within me today. It is within me, it is not me, so I suppose I shall make it through my day just the same. For anyone else on the east coast...be safe driving to work.

WV! What a place. Summers up on Jack Hill. I remember as a child being told that the other relatives, well, we just don't speak to or associate with. About a year ago I was browsing through my Netflix and saw a documentary. Ten minutes in, I realized why we never spoke to those people. It was called The Wonderful Whites of West Virginia. I watched in shock. All my relatives I knew when I was young are all gone now. I am 45, but as a youth, we would make the drive down to Buchannon from Pittsburgh to visit the farm and the property. It was nice. I just discovered this cool place by the gorge that has all local WV artists selling their stuff in it. Popped in on the way back from S. Carolina. Cool place.

Yep I worked with tom. Did not know a guy names Hurley. Tom was going to retire soon...i worked there in 2009

I don't blame you. The city has some great things to do for our girls (4 and 7) but we live about an hour outside of it. I am in it all the time for work. It seems huge until you realize its a miniature downtown compared to NY
