Pvcs and sex

I recently noticed I have pvcs for the last few weeks. I'm currently waiting to do an echo ,next week ,and had a holter on for 24 hours. Haven't heard back from dr yet. I did have blood work come back as all good. er dr say the pvcs look benign. My dad recently died so probably due to that. My question is can I have sex while having pvcs? I've been to scared to try. Maybe it would help since they are probably due to stress and anxiety? I've also read though some people feel worse during and after.

Well first what is pvcs? Second if I were you I would try it but have your significant other take it slow no rough sex just slow and passionate and see how it goes if its too much ask him to stop because you dont feel good also BEFORE IT STARTS WARN HIM you may get him blue balled lol 😂

Tell him look I wanna have sex but im not too sure if we can have it so i want to see if it makes me worse or makes me better but if I say stop it meand its not helping and making things worse

Slow and steady wins the race

Pvcs are irregular heart beats. It's like a skipped beat feeling.

So similar to palpiations? Or its basically the same thing?

Well then let me ask you this

What is your diet?

Do you drink a ton of coffee or caffiene?

Do you eat a ton of sugar or sugary things?

Cut out sugar from your diet as well as caffiene for a good week and see if it helps if it doesnt have you gone to a cardiologist?

Im sure you have already

I don't drink caffeine at all. I've cut out the sugary stuff the day these pvcs started. So, 2 weeks ago. I met with a cardiologist last week and did a 24 hour holter monitor and I have an echo scheduled for Monday. He said it was probably due to the stress of my dad passing away but wanted to just double check.

I should say that I have had health anxieties for about 7 years. I can't stop focusing on these heart beats so I don't know if I'm just making it worse for myself or not. I do have Ativan when I need it but haven't tried using it yet to see if maybe the pvcs will lesson.

Pvcs are nothing to worry about but if you want to get rid of them take magnesium supplements

I can take those if I don't have a magnesium deficiency? The cardiologist told me to take a tums before every meal.

I’ve had PVC’s for as long as I can remember. A thousand times worse when stress due to adrenaline. I actually do ok when being intimate. You can take slow deep breaths to slow your heart rate as well. Definitely stay hydrated, well rested, magnesium supplements. Mine are worse during ovulation and at the beginning of menstruation.
