Hello I'm a Londoner in my late 40s who has suffered with social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I'm friendly and outgoing and would like to be able to enjoy life without having to rely on alcohol to relax in a social setting.

Hi this is such a good place to come .it has helped me so much. Im suffering with depression and anxiety. And struggling to deal with. But comming on hear to express my feelings has helped. Also buy buying the book by Claire weekes has helped me. That was recommended by a lovely guy called Jeff . Definitely feel better about thing since coming on here

Hello Cas I'm certainly glad I came across this site today. I am feeling much more positive and will be going to see my GP next week. I'll definatey check out that book. Thanks

As you just read, Cas2802 can attest to getting the help she needed (that's always nice to hear) It's a wonderful group of men and women who really care about others. That's what the difference is from other forums. It's more than advice, it is sharing life's journey with depression and anxiety.
