Hello :-)

I have plenty of days where I really don't feel like doing anything and it feels like I have run a marathon rather than just pottered around , however I do not find I sleep during the day but if you are this could be either depression or you are using so much adrenaline because anxiety zaps that from us you are exhausted

Have you been to the Doctors and spoken about this , some blood tests maybe checking your vitamin D levels could be a good idea because a lot of anxiety sufferers seem to find when they have been tested that they have low vitamin D levels which can make us feel tired and want to sleep all the time

Hope you speak with your Doctor because even though I feel this is quite normal when we are suffering with anxiety/ depression it is something we need to get sorted out and I am sure they will help you to do that :-)

Take Care x

I have been working with my doctors. All my labs come back fine. I have a medication to help me fall asleep and stay asleep, though it hasn't been working much lately.

Hello :-)

I know it is not easy but if you could try to stay up during the day as much as I appreciate that when we are so low we don't feel like it but if you could you would then start to sleep better at night

Also with sleeping tablets we can get used to them so after a while they do not work as well , they are usually a short term thing because of this reason

I know when I have been at my lowest I have got into terrible sleeping patterns which then can be hard to break but you can do it :-)

Try and get up and stay up during the day , get dressed and just potter about the garden or the house , it will help you with the way you feel as well as help you to sleep at night , just tell yourself in a morning no matter how bad you feel that just for today you will get up and stay awake , take it one day at a time until your body clock gets used to it :-)

I am sure things will improve and I have every faith that you can work on this and make it happen :-) x

Thanks. The medication I'm on isn't used for sleeping, but that's what the doctor kinda prescribed it for. I've been doing better at staying up through the day. It's just sometimes I get this overwhelming need to sleep out of nowhere. Like one minute I'm fine, the next I'm completely out.

Hello

Well that is positive to hear you are doing a little better , keep working on it and hopefully your sleep pattern will fall back into place :-) x

YES!!! I actually just had one of those days on Saturday. I got up at noon, ate, watched some tv, took a couple hour nap, woke up watched more tv and then went back to bed.

A couple years ago i was on paxil and I could easily sleep a whole day away; no kidding either! Now that I'm off of it I really don't do that anymore;thank goodness
