I experienced it when I was in my early 20's. I woke up but was unable to move or talk. It was terrifying but it only lasted maybe 10seconds. I explained it to my therapist and she said it was definitely sleep paralysis.

Right on the money basically what happens when we sleep is this

Your brain is always on otherwise we die lol

But it sends out signals to the body when we are going to sleep so REM sleep is when we are in PARALYSIS but some people are awake during REM but they cannot move the reason we cant move is for oursafety when we are dreaming for example if we had a dream of falling off a mountain wed fall off our beds constantly but with sleep paralysis we cannot harm ourselves when dreaming

When you realize you cant move and are fully awake the body will not be aware until 10 seconds go passed and these are gonna feel like a life time before it wares off but i promise you it will ware off its terryfing i have never had it but it usually comes with nightmares for most people befause they see themselves dying and its right before their eyes and they cant do a damn thig about it you cant scream you cant move and defend yoursef your literallly a vegteable for those mere 10 seconds

I havent had this happen to me EVER but i have nearly ASTRAL PROJECTED (out of body experience) i saw myself sitting next to my body it was the craziest thing EVER felt SO WEIRD i had to stop before i passed out but it was AMAZING lmao it also gave me anxiety y haha but i was fine afterwards

There are youtube videos on how to control your dreams when under sleep paralysis your lucky though because you can alter the dreams but you nust gain the strength to do so i would deff research everything you can about it before seeking medical attention because i think if you learn to control it it could be a blessing instead of a curse best of luck!

Yes I’ve had it twice so far, I sleep on my left side on my bed against a wall and I woke up well I thought I did and felt some small boy I dunno why a boy but that’s what I felt, never saw anything as against the wall. Then I felt them sat down and they start pushing my back and really scared me I tried to shout and move but couldn’t and felt it sitting on me and couldn’t do anything. Once I woke up from it I was too scared to move or go toilet during the night as worried something might get me. Horrible feeling which I hope I don’t have again.

listen to is i was meditating while laying down and i fell asleep i felt deeply relaxed honesty and i remember rolling over on my stomach and my face turnt and about 6 min later i couldn't move it was like i was frozen for not that long but i had one eye open and i couldn't talk and it felt like my chest was heavy and then i got up scared and confused bc it never happened to me so it might have been the meditation that caused it idk what u guys think.
