I also get the hot feeling even though I have no temperature

15. Its like im bipolar during an episode i can be quite or i can be loud idk anxietys weird
The list goes on but i cant think of it these are really the ones i feel the most during my episodes
Mine is constant i dont have episodes at all it's an all day thing. I havent had the hear or cold flashes in a couplw of days but mine is normally cold flashes. I havent had an anxiety headache in years thanks gosh. But recently ive been having chest tightness like it feels like ibcant breath in fully and it hurts. It makes me wanna cough but nothing comes up. I also have a feelimg of something caught in my chest like a burn or something and when I try to push it out its all acid tasting its horrible. I also have overthibking constantly as well as sound sensitivity. Im also bipolar so that doesnt help. I too worry alot about my health. When infirst created a profile on this site i swore i had a brain tumor, since then I now convinced myself I have throat or lung cancer which is ludacris because I had blood work done and a chest xray but I still feel like theres something wrong. Its never ending. I feel like my time is expiring. Its horrid
You have GAD generalized anxiety disoreder which sucks because its an everyday anxiety epsiode or attack you also may have acid reflux which makes you feel a burning sensation in your throat and can be in the chest area as well now these could very well be symptoms of anxiety so i wouldnt worry about them but next time your at the doctor ask about a test for acid reflux and heart burn incase this makes you worry about having it
I never heard of GAD. I never even knew there was certain kinds. Im very new to this and I have no idea about any of this. I just want it to ease up. Ive been on meds and im taking them religiously I just dont feel anything yet. The burning sensation just started actually but I have a feeling its acid reflux ill try tums or rolaids to help it and see if it makes me feel any better.
Sounds like GAD! Yay what fun..not. The daily anxiety is exhausting but you can retrain your brain. I'm currently "relapsing" a little bit with anxiety again and have to constantly remind myself that NO this will not over come me and YES I am okay. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this and good for you for sticking to your meds. Remember to try and pair the meds with other self help techniques and youll be on your way to feeling better. Don't expect it to change overnight. Anxiety can come on that fast but pushing it out is sometimes a bit of a process which is okay!
You're not alone! We all experience physical symptoms. It's horrible. I have probably had them all one time or another: hold/cold flashes, dizziness, doom feeling, chest tightness, feeling as if I can't breath, chills, tingling on top of head, fingers, legs, muscles spasms, feeling faint, stomach issues, burping. Ugh... lol, I can go on and on. Miraculously, doc says it's anxiety🤷🏾♀️. I have had blood test and EKG, all come back normal.
Keep fighting, we will beat this!❤️
I've recently had this one feeling where my body feels like it's falling/tilting/ about to faint dizziness for a split second, and then nothing happens to me like I don't actually faint or fall but I get really nervous and hot and sweaty because I start to think the worst.. is that what y'all meant by sinking feeling?
It's relieving for me to hear this from so many other people here. While its terrible that we are suffering from this, no one here is alone in their symptoms. Ive been experiencing:
dizziness
feeling lightheaded or faint or that I might pass out at any moment
vision changes
tingling or numbness in nearly every extremity at one point or another
hard or irregular feeling heartbeat
derealization
pains near heart
breathing problems
general nervousness and sense of doom
hot flashes
trembling and shaking
It's been going on 7 or 8 months now, and all of these symptoms are scary. They always make me think that I have something seriously wrong. I think my worst fear is that I will pass out and slip into a coma and no one will be able to help me, or know whats wrong. However I do take comfort in the apparent randomness of these symptoms. They change and morph each time they pop up, so I keep telling myself that real medical problems don't do that. And that if something was seriously wrong or going to happen, it most likely would have happened already. Not a fun think to think, but it honestly does help. It makes me see these symptoms for what they are, annoying but ultimately harmless.
Hang in there, you are not alone!
Thanks for responding my symptoms dont just pop up or morph into something else. Lately mine has been my chest it feels like I have a severe chest cold and it hurts very badly but when I cough there nothing coming up and doctors say my lungs sound clear but they hurt badly. It makes my back hurt and this is with me throughout the day. I just am afraid that I might pass put from lack of oxygen or have something terribly wrong with me and the drs are missing it.
My severe symptoms started early 2013 and haven't let up since, apart from a year and a half ago when I really worked on tolerating my anxiety. Then I 'fell off the wagon' again.
I've always been anxious from a pretty young age, but the event that tipped me over the edge 4 years ago was a near fatal episode of anaphylaxis after I had a single dose of an antibiotic. The year after that, I had SEVERE anxiety to just about everything, as I was convinced anything and everything was capable of putting me into shock.
I've managed to get over those fears now, but anxiety for me always seems to find something else to latch onto. It really is a beast!!!😐
My physical symptoms are:
Muscle spasms/twitches all over my body but mainly on my legs behind my calf, keep thinking I’ve got a blood clot.
Pins and needles in my leg
Vibrating feet
Stomach problem such as acid reflux, constipated, bloating, cramp, sharp pains in my stomach.
Heart palpitations
Heart racing really fast which has got up to 180bpm as well as it beating irregular or quivering and shaking in my chest
Chest pains under my breast and top of my chest
Feeing sick
Headaches
Dizziness and derealisation
Hot sweats
Breathing problems such as hyperventilating
Blurred vision and lightheaded
I have some of these symptoms pretty much constantly at the minute it’s the muscle spasms daily and they don’t seem to go away. Was my heart racing all the time but once I got checked out I think that relived some of my symptoms and know I am not gonna drop dead.
Ive had nost of these symptoms as well
Yeah I think I made it worse by googling them and thinking I had some serious health issue but I’ve had bloods, ECG, 24 Hour ECG and everything came back fine so that’s a bit of reassurance and I’ve got a bit better.
Yes Google ruined everything for me. All hope has been lost. If I go by Google I should be dead by now and I have cancer
Oh and my symptoms are the doom feeling that comes over or a sudden rush of adrenaline for absolutely no reason. My snow vision and eyes just feel like they aren't focusing and I have trouble feeling"connected" to the world. I feel high..which makes me panic more because being high one time and panicking is where my anxiety started so makes sense. When I really let myself fall into panic I get awful shakes and skipped beats, lack of air feeling and head pressure.
