Slow heart rate at nighttime???

Hi caits im sorry to see your still having problems ! You answered your own question yes go to the doctor if only to put your mind at rest ! Let me know how you get on please !
Hi caitsxxx1, It's always best to run any concerns like this with your doctor as Celtic27 suggested. Since your pulse is 80plus during the day, it's highly unlikely that you are in bradycardia at night. I think it may just be your heart beat at a resting pulse especially since you mentioned increasing your medication recently. The medication itself may work in relaxing you causing your pulse to lower. So does mine in the evening. As long as it doesn't present with other symptoms, enjoy the calm of your body and sleep well. xx
Always check with the doctor first.
My heart rate is in the 70s to 80s during the day. Depends on what I'm doing but most of the time I sit around 77.
My resting heart rate is about 63. I get this number from averaging out my heart rate from the day and when I'm sleeping.
Your body will naturally decrease your heart rate in the evening when you are getting ready for bed. It is simply preparing you to rest.
My heart rate is between the 50s and 60s in the last few hours before I go to sleep.
Really, your heart rate is fine as long as your resting heart rate is above 40. Sure, you may have to be in amazing shape to have that though! Just remember that's a "resting" heart rate. Your BPM is going to jump all over the place throughout the day. The hearts job is to pump blood around and move more when you're jumping about, then move less when you're relaxing.
Have the doc check it out, for sure. But from what I'm reading. Your heart seems to be doing the same thing mine is. I've had an EKG, a nuclear stress test, a CT scan and an ultrasound of my heart. I know mines doing what it should.
