Headache
Harleycatpoison, Having anxiety as well as Fibro will produce unbelievable chronic headaches. Somewhere between a migraine and muscular tension headache. The blood vessels dilate causing the pounding, pain in your neck caused by spasms and trigger points and ears hurt because the muscles down the ear canals are painfully tight which also causes that dizzyheaded feeling like you may pass out. Being dehydrated prompts the symptoms to have appeared in the first place. You will need to work on methods to reduce the muscle tightness before your anxiety takes over as well.
Once the head pain is at an insane level, then the best you can do is use a cold pak across the back of the head, lie down in a cool darkened room and listen to soft music or a relaxation cd. Do deep breathing which will help with the pain and the anxiety.
If you are given a pain pill to take, make sure you at least take it with some dry crackers to reduce the nausea feeling. I hope your pain level goes down but you really need to follow up with your doctor when headaches get to this point of frequency. x
P.S. Some Ginger Ale over ice will help with the nausea.
