Working conditions

Lack of support at work has led to me begin anxious, feeling stressed, mainly at work. Sleep disrupted. Lack of ambition, motivated to do anything. Lack of resources, manpower and support at work - I'm trying to do it all myself.

garrycarter, No one person can carry the full load. It sounds like it is catching up with you. Work is important but so is your physical and mental health. Choices need to be made now as to where you go from here. You can be put on short term medication as well as therapy in order to learn how to cope with the situation OR you find another job. A lot more is involved with leaving your present job depending on the length of time you've been there, your pay and benefits.

You sound more than overwhelmed right now and believe me anxiety doesn't get better under those circumstances. My best to you in your decision.

Garry,

Work conditions can cause so much stress for us that it affects almost every respect of our lives. No one should have to live like this. And it's not as easy as 'just find another job'.

I'm trying to find ways to cope and make healthy life decisions.

Have you tried to communicate with your boss? I know that doesn't always work.
