Hi all. I'm currently on 20mg a day of this for about a year. Docs have just increased to 30mg a day. Is this worth it? Has anyone else tried it?? What's the side effects like??

Hi Sandy1710, Don't worry about the side effects, don't worry if anyone else has tried it. This is about your doctor feeling *in your case, you need the increase to 30mg. Going on medications is such an individualized process that only your doctor knows your health history and knows you well enough to make that call. Trust in his judgment and be patient in the upped dose working for you.
The options are either staying put on a dose that doesn't work for you or taking a leap of faith that this time, you will see a positive difference in feeling like yourself again.
Good Luck Sandy...medication is a trial and error process but feeling better is all worth it
Hi. I was prescribed fluoxetine,60 mgs & I didn't have any side effects. I found them no good so my psychiatrist changed me to duloxetine 120 mgs maximum dosage but again no change. He then prescribed me venlafaxine 300 mgs & im on that now & I feel just ok. Ask your doctor you want to try another tablet as there are plenty to choose from. All the best. Sam
