Yes us neurotics fake our emotions all the time just to deal with people. It's normal behavior for us

I do feel like I put on a smile/brace face but I think my anxiety makes me question everything so much that it's hard to feel normal x

What is it that you feel towards him? Disconnection? Do you feel like you dont know him? Scared he won't understand what you're going through? Just curious, the answer is so vague

Its normal to feel that way. What youre experiencing are symptoms of personalization/derealization. The disconnection is a scary feeling. You just have to pretty much go with the flow when it happens. Just let your bf know when youre having those moments so he can be there for you. Good luck :)

Thanks for your reply x so what's the best way to do with this? It's scary and I really don't know how to deal with it

Me personally. I feel like theres no cure. You just have to cope with it. I still struggle with thefeeling. I usually try to distract myself when it happens like talk to somebody. Something to ground me. Now there's medication for it to make you "feel better" but i choose not to. You just have to find your own "cure". Yeah its scary as shit but we humans have the ability and spirit to overcome anything. Try something new in life. Maybe being stuck in your same routine is making you feel like this. Try it out

Yes I feel like this. It's like living my life in a film and I'm acting out living

yeah I think that's how it is a lot of the time. Like if you're telling a story to someone you're acting it out.

Pray to find a church that's right for you. Meanwhile, if you are a reader, try this book: "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis.
