Forgot meds

I'm on paxil and im on vacation for another week and I forgot my new bottle i just realized i left my new bottle home im here for at least another week I'm still in the states and i get my meds from cvs any advice or help would be great

Contact your doctor and have a 7 day supply script sent to the nearest pharmacy Good luck

Man get ur doc to switch that stuff i was on paxil for 10 uears just switched withdrawls were hell even if i missed a day off them

Paxil and effexor were the worst for me. I guess it's different for everyone

Go with CaptianInsano's advice. Get an email address or fax number for your nearest dispenser for your doctor/pharmacist. Thank God we don't have to rely on snail mail.

Did you bring a doctor's letter or pharmacist's note with you? If you have the original packaging with details on it, these might be enough to get a week's supply.

It's expensive to deal with medicine matters in the States. If you have travel insurance, you might be able to go to an ED or primary care provider for help.

Some community centres in the States have a health service attached to them so keep a look out for them.

As a last resort, if you have any pills left, just break them up with a pill splitter to last until you get sorted. Hopefully half a tablet will not cause to many withdrawal symptoms.

There are a number of natural over the counter remedies which you could take as a supplement, just be sure to consult the pharmacist to make sure it's safe.
