Extreme Anxiety and worry
Hi
When do you take your zoloft (sertraline) and diazapam?
I am on zoloft and always take it at night about 2 hours before I go to bed. This drug can cause dizziness so if you are taking it in the day, that might be the problem.you are on a very low dose of diazapam so that should not affect you too much.
Have you been to your doctor about this? There are so many reasons could be causing this, I think you probably needs some tests etc.
The trouble with anxiety is, doctors will want to rule out any others physiological causes.
Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks so much for your advice. I have been on diazapam for 45 years so that isn't it, but the zoloft might be the problem. Have you ever had your Cortisol levels checked? Reason i ask is if they are off, this can really bring on anxiety because of the adrenal glads. I am going to get mine tested. I have had "anxiety" for over 45 years. Thanks again.

Hi Gordon
No, I don't think I have although I've had numerous blood tests. I'm not sure whether they routinely test cortisol levels here in the UK or whether you have to ask for it specifically. Symptoms of high cortisol levels are high blood pressure ando low blood sugars as well as rapid weight gain, anxiety and/or depression.
Tour give yourself reassurance I would ask for the blood test.
I too have suffered with anxiety for nearly 40 years, only now I've also added fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis....... no fun getting older!!!!!!!
Best wishes
