Heartbeat in ear

For about a month I've been able to hear my pulse in my ear. Some days it goes away, some days it's very loud and distracting.

It's really freaking me out! I googled (big mistake) and now I'm anxious that I have a problem with my heart or arteries.

Could this be psychosomatic? Do any of you have experienced with this or other types of tinnitus?

Yes I have it right now but I tend to get a blocked middle ear with slight deafness I've had it going on for 5 months and it's driving me mental lol

Try keeping your mouth closed and pinching your nose and blowing gently with a little pressure like you would do to pop your ears after a plane flight and see if that helps.

Yes I had this. After getting myself calmed it slowly went away. Exercise and occupying my mind helped

Yeah I get this, the specialist called it pulsatile tinnitus. He did a brain MRI, carotid artery scan and hearing tests but nothing showed up. It's probably nothing to worry about but it's worth getting it checked out just to put your mind at rest.
