Saz12345, are you able to tell if your chest pain is coming from muscle tightness? The fact that your back hurts bad now is almost confirming that's what it is. I think if you can believe that it is not coming from your heart but rather over tense muscles, it should not make you scared. In getting scared then you are adding fuel to the fire which prompts shallow breathing and along comes dizziness.

Try to address your dizziness first by making sure you are well hydrated as well as finding a quiet spot/an escape for a while where you can concentrate on your breathing. After you get that under control, you can work on alleviating the muscle tension in your chest and back. Using heat is more beneficial in getting the muscles to relax.

I hope this helps some. Biggest thing is to calm down your negative thoughts. It will be okay. You are safe. Nothing bad will happen. We are all here for support. x

It is muscle tension ,doctor has told you its anxiety please trust your doctor and keep saying to yourself this is tension and if I can relax it will go try to relax and do some breathing drop those shoulders feel the muscles relax as you breath in and out keep saying relax relax a doctor told me he tells his anxious patients to do this for anxiety.you will soon be feeling better, you are safe and you can calm yourself keep relaxing and it will go.

I am the same way! I have this upper chest tension that squeezes and makes my neck tight. I know it's anxiety but I dont remember that when I feel it.

Yes its anxienty. When I am focused on my thoughts and overthink usually at night I find it hard to sleep and during the day all my body hurts it looks like you have a burning ache. You feel tired, have chest pain, back pain, neck pain so you feel like you have have worked. The best way is to start "chasing " your negative thoughts and to replace it with positive one. But there are times that negative thoughts "chase" you but still we have to try our best till we succeed. ☺
