Klonopin

I have been taking klonopin 3mg for about 41/2 years. I'm reading about withdrawal and I'm scared to death that I could have symptoms years after taking it. I'm down to 21/2 mg but not feeling the best. Anyone that can help me?

Are you trying to completely stop taking it? If so, do it in steps, small amounts until you are no longer taking it. Are you taking it everyday? I think you'll be ok 💜 Don't worry about getting symptoms years down the line, you should be ok ☺ I had an addiction to anti anxiety pills, its best to nip it in the bud while you still can. Those pills can be dangerous sometimes. I wish you luck my friend 💚

Thank you. Yes I would like to come off of it. So far I came down 1/4mg for 4 weeks and now another 1/4 mg for about 2 weeks. I'm having a hard time sleeping but I was reading on the internet and it says I could have symptoms for years after taking it. I'm scared

That's good that you have been cutting down. Don't worry to much, everyones body responds differently. I'm sure you will be alright ☺💜 Try not to think to much on it. Getting off of it, is a positive thing 👍☺
