Back pain.....

So, i have had some chest tightness in my upper back today. Also my lower back has been hurting as well. Could this just be because i am tired and it is from anxiety? My mind always goes to the worst and i hate it. So now I am thinking i have lung or spine cancer. I hate myself sometimes. Cant i just be normal?

JessMarie79, more than being tired, your chest and upper back pain (even lower back) are coming from the extremely tight muscles because of the way we tense ourselves when afraid.

Don't hate yourself, hate the anxiety monster and what it does to you. Then work on throwing it to the curb. It doesn't deserve your attention, it doesn't deserve being focused on. You have better things to do with your life. How you are reacting to anxiety's mind game is a normal reaction however we all need is to learn to accept and dismiss the symptoms so that we can get better.

Little by little, it will happen for you. x

I have often suffered with the same. It's caused by the stress anxiety and consequent tension of suffering anxiety. If you can get down to a sauna or steam room try that to relax your muscles. Long term I have found going to a gym to build up those muscles has helped me personally

Yes I experience this as well with my anxiety. It is all normal and of course we think it's something very severe when it's not it's just our body being tense from the anxiety take a shower make the water as hot as you can take it then slowly turn the hot water off and make it as cold as you can take it this has helped me a lot with my tense muscles if not take a bath with epsom salt, or see a massage therapist try to look for ways to release that tension even working out helps with anxiety just a 30 minute walk can help you feel better! 😊

I'm currently experiencing this. But yes don't let it be your focus, as with all anxiety symptoms, they tend to fade away when you become busy with some task.
