What could it be?

Hello everyone, Is it normal to keep on worrying about your health? Like I'll keep on checking my heart rate. Sometimes I will be busy watching a movie and suddenly feel sad . Negative thoughts running through my mind.

Omg,I do the heart rate check and I do blood pressure check. I bought a Fitbit with the hr monitor on it and I'm obsessed with it. I have health anxiety so I'm constantly worrying. I'm trying to stop doing it so much,I'm doing pretty good with not checking blood pressure but I do the rate a lot still. I have had all my blood work done at my dr and just last night at the er I had a chest X-ray and ekg done and it all came back normal but I still checked today and worry. 😩

I have to check my heart rate every now and then just to make sure it's regular. I check my blood pressure too! Though not as much as the heart rate. I worry that something might be wrong with me and it's really affecting my day to day activities.

That's why I check it also. Just to make sure it is regular. I have been to the dr ,er and urgent care so many times since January. My blood pressure is near perfect when they check it and when I do. I've had all my lab work done and looks Good so there's no reason I should be obsessing over the blood pressure but I do. I think in my head I think ok well it was good yesterday but today might be the day it changes and it will be bad. I go in cycles. I can not be worried for months and then all the sudden something happens and Im back worrying about health issues, even when I've been checked out and nothing is found,I will worry. I've been worrying for about 2 months. I'm hoping it ends after I see my therapist on Wednesday. It's a vicious cycle. Have you seen anyone about it?

I get all my blood work done every year. I think it gives me a peace of mind. Sometimes it gets done multiple times because when I have one of my many er visits, they do it again. I just had a few visits within the last couple weeks. Even though everything looks good, there is that worry. I saw my dr today to talk about getting prescribed something. I have been afraid to start a medication but this morning I broke down and I think I've hit rock bottom. I need to try something. I use lorazepam once in awhile,it takes a lot for me to take one but after I do,I do feel better. The medication scares me because of side effects but how nice would it be to live carefree for awhile. 😬
