Hyper self-awareness

I suffer from and have since the age of 10...now 54...from extreme anxiety and the the worst symptom by far is this acute self awareness that without medicatiions like Clonazapam would be unbarable! Anybody else suffer from this symptom in the extreme and how do you cope with it? I feel feel like im suffocating in self-awareness and honestly have the greatest empathy for anyone else who does as well...literally a living hell....

Hello I am 68 and suffer as you do from anxiety and is something I fight everyday. I keep telling myself life is passing by so fast I need to get past this crap and enjoy life more but is easier said than Done! I let people know right up front that I suffer from anxiety and some days can not be around people and they understand. I found sharing this with my friends helps me cope if I am honest with people.
