Calms my anxiety
I know the milk fat calms the belly issues with reflux/ gerd but as far as tge other issue/ issues maybe you have a vitamin D deficiency and that can cause like issues. So Im not surprised it helps....how idk but it seems likely
I love milk and will often have a cold glass in the evenings. Its pretty good for you except if you are lactose intolerant, so don't feel guilty about it.
When I was a child my mum always used to make us hot milk before going to bed as she always said it helped us get a good night's sleep So Im sure it does have lots of benefits I can't stand the taste of it now but a lovely milky decaf coffee or chocolate I find calming There used to be a drink called Horlicks that we used to have not sure if it's still available
Glad you found something that helps this rotten old anxiety
😉
Hey thats funny, I just said this the other day. I had a full blown anxiety attack the other day and I drank some milk n laid down and I just got calmer and calmer. Do you have anxiety symptoms all day like me?
Im curious to know what symptoms you have with your anxiety coz everyone is difference. I am suffering with anxiety myself and im struggling with it thanks x
I can be here for 30 days explaining my symptoms lol but tightness in head sometimes, weird deep breathing, chest tightness and muscle flexing 80% of the day, cold hands, cold feet, random palpitations, intrusive thoughts, thought of my health, checking my heart beat all day, feelings of direalization, depression, insomnia, anger .....

Should help you out some! Ruby🌹
I think that little pussycat would bring my anxiety down he/she is gorgeous 😺I find stroking my cat and seeing how relaxed and content she is really makes me calm
Cats are great! We have 12 of them! No kidding... Cheaper by the dozen 😁😁😁What's your kitty's name? 🌸🌸🌸
Oh my goodness Id be in heaven I love them to bits
Ours is called Maisie she is 2 yrs old ginger and white We were just leaving the RSPCA centre as there weren't any kittens when one of the inspectors brought her in and said What about this little one It was love at first sight I couldn't sleep that night as they weren't allowed to put her up for rehoming that day as she hadn't had all the health checks and told us to go back in the morning We saw her on the Fri had our house check on the Tues and picked her up on the Weds
It must be bliss in your house 😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺x
She sounds lovely! It is fun in my house. They keep you busy. Like a bunch of kids when you carry bags in. They all can't wait to see what's in the bags.I really can't complain about them. The good always outweighs the bad. We actually had a hoarding case in my town with dogs. The couple had 276 dogs! All in their house! Can you imagine that? 🌸🌸
I hate milk so I put a little milkshake powder in it,then it's lovely.
The effect could be from the high amino acid in milk called Tryptophan.
It is a sedative.
You can but them in tablets in a health food or nutrition shop.
There is very little vitamin d in a glass of milk, and you would not get a fast effect anyway, but you do with amino acids.
I ended up taking 1/4 of my oxyzapam for aniexty last night and actually also had a cup of hot milk. I started having a cup here and there its relaxing.
Hello Kia302017
I am so glad I've come across your post since the last couple of years I have drank more and more milk. I drink it with my four year with nesquick in lol yum. Or on its own I love it and do feel better after. If I want a drink to chill before bed can't beat ovaltine!! Love ❤️ it. It reminds me so much of my nan too. Ovaltine full of vitamins and minerals too so don't have to feel as guilty drinking it.
Take Care and let me take this opportunity to wish you a happy New Year xx
I drink milk at night (not hot, yuck!)
But I feel it relaxes me and helps me relax and sleep better. I feel it may be because it contains magnesium.
