Chest pains

Quick question, I'm still getting sharp bad chest pains in right and left side of my chest. I've had them for a while but they keep getting worse and now I'm scared, my doc doesn't seem to care!!!! Does anyone get these all the time and how can you ease them? Xx

Hi Han1985, it's not that your doctor doesn't care. I'm sure he has run tests on you to make sure there are no health issues. If that's the case, then you may be experiencing Costochrondritis which is an inflammation of the nerves between the ribs of your chest.

It's due to stress and anxiety and can be quite painful but not serious. If it is that, then warm compresses to the chest wall will help relieve the discomfort. As well as a warm relaxing bath. Deep breathing and calming methods will help relax the tight muscles in your chest and upper back. If need be and it's okay by your doctor, a Tylenol will help soothe the pain away. Feel better.
