still having pain in arms
Could be so many things, I wouldn't know. But for me anxiety makes me hunch up my shoulders, like toward my ears, and I apparently grind my teeth at night for TMJ. Those actions could possibly pinch a nerve that runs down through our arms and hands? I'm glad to hear the rest of your anxiety is under control, that's fantastic!
I was the same way. I am able to control my anxiety much better now to where I almost don't have t but I do still get the physical symptoms of them. It scared me at first because I wasn't sure if it was my post anxiety feelings and I just didn't notice it before or it was something more serious. Either way I went to go get it checked out. I was having the same. Chest pains, left arm pain, back pain, and even jaw pain. It was hard and scary to say the least.
After I went to the doctor and got the clear I felt better. I knew it was my anxiety coupled with me GERD that was giving me these things.
So to answer your question, yes I have then as well. And I still feel them. I get scared a little of course but I need to constantly remind myself that it is my anxiety and other factors that are giving me these symptoms.
Faith has helped me the most. I pray to God and Jesus and ask for guidance and help. I truly trust them and know they are with me helping every step of the way. Prayer helps. Try it. It's free 😊
My goodness, I think I've actually written this same post! Seriously, go look through some of my old posts!
The shortness of breath is my most constant symptom with anxiety. The sore muscles in my arms lasted about 2-3 weeks, but man did that scare me! The tinglies come and go, but it seemed they were worse when I was worried about being so sore.
Of course, I stopped worrying about my muscles being sore (probably because I don't know of any diseases which cause me to be sore) so it went away. After that I went on to worrying about the next health anxiety related disease I could conjure up.
Working out helped the soreness go away. My guess is that my anxiety caused some muscle tension and build up of chemicals, so the working out just helped move that stuff out and get the muscles moving.
