I feel good before I go to bed, calm and distracted then as soon as I shut my eyes, my breathing plays up, my head feels dizzy and get this horrible feeling I won't wake up tomorrow. I just want to sleep :(

Hi getreal2000, the bed time thing seems to be a common problem with both anxiety and depressive illnesses. I was told by a counsellor that it is because this is the time when our brain files away all the information we have come across during the day, but because our brains are not functioning properly (a shortage of synaptic fluids) they don't get to their proper la places. A bit like a computer saving a file then you can't find it because it has gone to the wrong folder or lost it, the information is still there but lost or the problem box keeps popping up to say there is something wrong.
