Jax, when I get bad, I go on YouTube and type in Audio Relaxation/Deep Breathing. I find a soothing voice that quickly calms my mind and body. Maybe for 10-15 min. It really helps. x

Have you tried listening to calming music? Anything that you like that you can tune in to.

I know that feeling and it's a horrible one. Always check that it won't interfere with any meds you might be on, but I found that a good strong cup of valerian tea would calm me down. I use Dr. Stuart's brand but if thats not available, just get a good one. I got my last box at Holland and Barrett. Anyway, wishing you well, Wendy x

Try anxiety apps!! Really helped me. Very calming hypnotherapy. Try different ones and find one that works for you. Lots of them are free. X

Like me. Nothing help not hot shower, no massage, nothing. I feel stiff neck when I turn. like a noise in the ear. stiffness in the jaw. much tension in my neck. despondency negative thoughts.

What about going for a walk or bike ride maybe even a run to get the adrenaline out

Such different remedies for different people. I find a pressured back rub helps me, get someone to press quite firmly for a good 15mins or so in heavy massaging circles on your back and listen to the telly with your eyes closed. This helps you concentrate more as your not using your eyes!!

My cat helps too, like a baby they tend so sense your panic and fear so I find I can control myself easier if I cuddle him as I don't want him to feel my fear (heart palpitations) it's like something try harder to control my body - so force yourself to be in situations like this when you can and see if it helps. As I say everyone is so different.

Lavender calms me down, I have an oil burner in everybody just incase I feel I need it but more often than not its a heavy handed back rub for me!! 🍁
