For the pass 4 days I have been having pains in my chest. Sometimes it's right in the middle, sometimes it moves. This is my first time ever having problems with my chest. I deal with a alot on a daily basis. Could it be stress that has me like this or should I go to the ER

Have you ever had a heart scan? I get this all the time. My chest is really tight right now

Hi leekenjules. If in doubt get it checked out to rule out any problems with your ticker. If the results are negative, the chances are stress is causing the pains. If this is the case, accept what the doctors tell you and do not dwell on the symptoms. Focus on other stuff instead of the pains. They will disappear if you let them.

Best wishes

Like right now I don't feel anything. But if I get upset or frustrated it will start to hurt and the more I think about it, the worse it gets

Whenever it involves your chest I would go into the Doctor sooner rather then later. Just to make sure it is all OK.

Anxiety does cause a tremendous amount of chest discomfort for me (tightness/pressure/pin point pain). I have it everyday. Some days are better then other.

I went to the doctor to make sure everything was OK and with all tests, it looks like everything is OK

I definitely DO NOT recommend going to "Dr. Google" or WebMD. The symptoms will continue to scare you. Self diagnosis is a quick way to get yourself scared and eventually develop a health anxiety. Believe me its happened to me.

Go to your doctor and get check out. They are the experts. They went to school for a long time so they know what they are talking about.

I began feeling the symptoms after I read them on Google and I would then begin to panic. I've been to the ER and nothing. Have to understand that anxiety can play tricks on you and it will sneak its ugly little head where ever possible.
