hi everyone I recently seen my GP about my weight and anxiety they have changed my medication but I am still comfort eating when I am stressed. What can I do to stop comfort eating at night?

It still amazes how stress can do one person one way and then someone else another. I have the same issue but the opposite effect. I have no appetite still struggling to eat how I use to before this anxiety and stress had kicked in and I lost more weight than I'd like. And it's freaking me out because I feel like I think I'm sick or have an illness. But I wish all the best with what you have going on.
I comfort eat too! But I have found that as long as I am regularly exercising, it isn't too bad. I also try and substitute things where I can e.g. juice instead of fizzy drinks and crackers instead of chips. I can't really kick chocolate though... Also, I have sometimes gone on diets with family and friends and they generally work if I set like a small period of time. I started off with one month, now I can do three to six months of dieting at a time. Best of luck!
