I was doing well.. really well but after 2 weeks they are back

Been doing so well for 2 weeks.. then my uncle passed away.. and now back to square one.. 😧😧😧 took 2 sips of wine and feel so sick had to take lorazepam to calm myself down . Cried so much and need this day to be over

Marymel, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. Unfortunately it is quite normal to slide back when life hands us stressors. It seems to hit us harder than the average person w/o anxiety. I hope by now the lorazepam has starting working for you. I hope you will feel a little more put together tomorrow. Again I'm sorry. xx

Marymel I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle, and as agora said its normal to regress backwards. It's a set back for sure. BUT Marymel youl come back from this. You said yourself you were doing well and you will again. You need to get over the shock and upset if it all. I know that can take a long time but dig deep and find some strength. My sympathys to you and your family x

Oh bless you , Death of a loved one is I think always hits anybody hard . I am truly sorry for your loss , & I think it's normal to feel like this , but try and keep in your minds eye that you know ! as you have written ,you can feel better !!!! anxiety comes and goes but it's how you deal with it that matters . I note this post is a couple months old so I hope by now your anxiety has settled. Having been an Anixety suffer all my life Yes as a Child Grab the good days &I make your GP earn his keep.
