Does the heat bother anyone else's symptoms? I work outdoors and in the sun giving riding lessons and training horses and it seems to aggravate my anxiety symptoms. Anyone else have this?

Heat worsening my anxiety symptoms?
I cannot be in the sun I over heat and my whole body gets tingly pricks and it gets hot inside and I get anxiety in the snap of a finger I usually carry frozen water to dump on my body when these occur
Hi there CD, I have the opposite. My symptoms are worse when I am cold.
I do experience this . I work as well in the heat at a ranch , and it makes me have worse headaches, and I feel more anxious.
Absolutely yes! For me, I believe it is because a big part of my panic episodes are internal hot flushes... So when I get overheated it triggers the feeling of a panic attack and it's hard to tell the difference. I get so "overwhelmed" when I get too hot.
I think it may be because heat also raises our heart rate therefore making us anxious automatically. I get so lightheaded on bad days I almost feel like I'm going to fall over or pass out. Ugh! It is so hard to deal with. This symptom is the most pesky for me, the only one that really bugs me at all. Feels like things would be so much easier if I could just get a handle on this dizziness/lightheadedness. Grrr
CDanielle98, dehydration from working out in the sun can cause the anxiety symptoms to get worse. You must hydrate more often while outdoors. It will reverse the lightheadedness and dizziness. Whenever I feel like that indoors (agoraphobic) it's a reminder that I am not drinking enough water. It does turn it around. I hope it helps. x
