So sorry to hear. Keep in touch with the group. Reading similar stories helps a lot to relieve our worries. Since the condition interferes with your daily activities better get help of a therapist if you have access. Wish you will find some relief soon. All the best!
Hey you can do this 😊 don't let anxiety run your life and hopefully things get better for you 😊 I pray they will and just find a way to relax and hold on your two feet
Hey, you're totally right it does suck! I am feeling the same just now, started a college course but keep calling in sick. I've found that actually making myself eat something helps with the sicky feeling. You probably won't want to but even an ice lolly will do. And don't beat yourself up if you're not going in. Start small, set small achievable goals like going to the local shop, or even just getting dressed if it's really bad. Sending you massive hugs.
Hi, recently went through that myself. I went through awful panic when I started trainee role in new job -felt physically sick in the office and wanted to hide in the toilets. If I could have moved my PC in there I would have. Spent whole time worrying they would discover how woeful I was. What helped? I used to leave the room, walk up stairs to another floor, look out window on stairwell at the tops of the buildings or the traffic, see life just carrying on and go back in to the office. On the shaky bit, taking the piss out of it say by waving your arms in the air and internally singing Taylor Swift just shake it off (not in the office, try the cubicle or on the stairwell if no one is there) might help
It isn't a crime to ask questions if you are stuck or run by how you are thinking of approaching a task you haven't done before, just write answers down in a notebook so you can refer back to them later.
I get that too. I physically can't get into college due to feeling anxious and it sometimes leads to panic attacks if I go in. Sickness isn't my main symptom but I've definitely had it, the worst is convincing yourself you are dying and it's just horrible. I get muscle weakness and it gets worse when I haven't had enough sleep, one thing that helps me is colouring, it's very relaxing and it requires you to just focus on one thing, listening to music at the same time is even better because that way you mind stays focused. Finally, I often have a bath if I'm feeling really down. That helps me the most. I really hope everything gets better for you!
