A long time coming
Hi QuriusGeorge, If you've had 6 months w/o anxiety, you have done better than any one of us. I envy you. It's funny in that no matter how long you don't experience anxiety, when it does come back, it is just as upsetting and scary as the first time. Something must have prompted it to come back, maybe something you can't put yoiur finger on. I'm not sure what you are feeling but you will have to go back to square one in using deep breathing and meditation to try and calm your mind down. You might even want to try therapy a few times to see if the problem surfaces as to what started the anxiety again. It's not an easy over night fix but it happened once before for you so I would think you have a good chance of it leaving again for another 6 months. I hope so. While you are struggling with the anxiety again, come back to the forum so you can get the support you need. Good Luck....
Maybe it just comes out of no where, sometimes that may tend to happen but I hope you feel better !
Hi , I am great for about 5 months and then a bout of anxiety/depression comes over me and lasts about 6 weeks. I have no idea why this comes on. I am on Duloxetine 60mg and have been like this for over 20 years. Tried all sorts of therapies, you name it I have tried it but nothing has worked. I wake up sweaty, palpitations, dizzy and no appetite. Don't want to mix with anyone and everything a huge effort. I know I am lucky that I am not like this all the time but when it attacks I feel as if I am never going to be happy again. Hope you feel a bit better soon from Lin
