Dream like

Does anyone feel dream like all the time. Not confused but you can be at home and everything feels weird like your in a daze. Can't cope. Makes me think I'm just going to die

Zobro, I do get that way too.  If life were a movie, we would appear

as floating in air

What do I mean?   I guess to me if feels so unreal, like I'm floating

in space.  It just doesn't bother me like it use to.  It's a part of being

anxious all the time.  The only time I really feel peace throughout

my body is after dinner, watching tv.  I wish I could capture that feeling

in a bottle.   xx   Does this make any sense?

Yes it does make sense. It's a horrible feeling like your floating and Then I turn the lights on and then off to try make the feeling go but it doesn't. Just feels like I'm very spaced out kind of thing. 

And then I think I'm going to black out and drop down dead.

So that's what depersonalization and derealisation

are like.  Not until I came to this forum have I heard

those words used.  Wonder why the psychiatrist never

said anything more than you have GAD.   I've learned

more here and through my therapist than the doctor.  x Thanks Zobro...

When you get that feeling do you feel like you're gonna pass out or go blind too? I do and I hate it. It's makes my eyes feel weird.

Yes I feel like all of a sudden everything might just go black and I won't be able to see again! Exactly the same. Can't cope
