Chest pain
Katyjoa,
No, this isn't normal and I think you wouldn't be asking if you thought it was normal. Do you have an internist or GP you can call? They would want to see you asap. Otherwise you need to go to the ER that's part of a hospital, not a small emergencies type of place.
Do you normally have frequent anxiety problems? If so, this could be anxiety related rather than a heart problem and you may want to address this as an anxiety problem. If you have medications you take for anxiety you may need to adjust them and/or call your prescribing Dr. regarding adjusting them.
In order to lower your anxiety and heart rate, there are things you can do like
(1) slowing your breathing down and (2) focusing on things that interest you to distract you from your anxiety. These things will help you despite the original cause of your anxiety.
Iv had ecgs done and all come bk normal. They say it's anxiety and I was just wondering if eney 1 else gets this
oh ya, if u have anxiety, everyone has that! lol...Ur not alone trust me on that. Listen, its all about the breathing, sounds harder than it is but it really does work but you have to be diligent about it. Stop from thinking about anything and go somewhere to relax for a few minutes. Take long deep breaths into your lungs with slow breaths and let out with your mouth. Slow is the key word. Do this like 5 or 6 times until u feel yourself slowly relaxing. Eventually it will kick in. Do this everytime u feel this way. I feel for ya and understand exactly. Read up on Anxiety, there is so much good info on it. That will make u feel so much better once you understand.
I get this, have it right now actually. I think it's because of the medication I've started..
It's horrible I've been fine all week. I started my period the weekend I'm just wondering I it has summer to do with that
I think it's mainly about your breathing too, take deep tummy breaths that actually helps me to feel like my chest isn't so tight. Hope it subsides it's annoying as that's what starts my panic attacks off sometimes because I think the chest pains mean they're is something wrong with me but it's probably just my anxiety
