I'm a nurse and I have this and kind of blame it on the job because I went through a phase of losing a lot of people to cancer etc and when I come home from work I'd be in a right mess having every symptom that person had, it's very annoying and upsetting but it can lead to depression are u on any meds for it xx

I'm a CNA and I had to quit my job I was having panic attacks at work and they would all look at me like I was crazy, I felt like the patient and id see everyone sick I think it got to me

The short answer is - yes. Anxiety and depression are inextricably linked in a psychological sense and each will often set the other off. However, there are medical interventions that can help. Medication, therapy or a combination of both has proved to be very effective for many people. If you speak with your doctor s/he will set you on the right course of treatment for you. I wish you well.

No question about it! How long has this been going on? If for awhile, you might consider seeing a therapist.

You cannot control what is out of your hands. Being very ill or death, we all think like that, one time or another. Your not alone so give yourself a break and realize outside of keeping healthy, nothing you can do. The more you dwell on these thoughts, more you will get sick and have a very hard time coming out of it. Trust me, I have been there many times. You need to start thinking positive thoughts every day and focus on the here and now. Everytime you find yourself thinking like that, pull yourself in and take control by looking at the good things in life. Afterall, life is short and who needs to think of these things when it will happen someday to all of us. Start looking at your life as being important to helping others and cheering them up. Look at goals or things u enjoy and do them or make a list of things you want to do. It takes time to start feeling better so give yourself some time and be positive! It will happen only if you strive to be that way! One day at a time!! Good luck!

I am in the same boat and I feel the same way as you. Everyday I wake up and fear I am going to die. It has got inbetween my daily activities and I find it hard to cope. I think what's the point in doing anything as I'm going to die anyway. Believe me when I say this, I know 100% how you feel. Pay no attention to it at all and ignore it.

Anxiety can lead to depression if not treated but hopefully you'll be able to get it under control before it gets you under control.
