Hi all. I've been given Lustral (sertraline) 50mg to take after having enough of anxiety ruling my life. Does anyone have any experience with this particular medication? I'm on Day 2 noe and seems to be OK minus the shakes and a poorly tummy yesterday

Hi what symptoms did you have if you don't mind me asking hope you are okay it's horrible they wanted me to starts propanolol but I want to try councils get first x

I've always been a worrier but recently after a number of health issues I have now gotten to the point where I'm always worried and stressed even though I have no idea of the outcome it's ruling my life. I've gone from being a confident person to a shell filled with anxiety. My partner has now left me as I've changed so much in the last year. I've also signed up to get talking therapy as well as trying to be more self aware of my emotions. My initial assessment suggests general anxiety disorder. The main thing I have is fear and not sleeping finding it hard to leave the house when I'm alone. Sorry for the long explanation. What are your main experiences at the moment? X

I've only been taking them for 2 days now. The Dr's think I have endometriosis. I have been suffering with chronic pain since the beginning of the year I'm waiting for a laproscopy to get a diagnosis and pain management x

Endometriosis is a disease which affects womens pelvic area it has many different symptoms. It's very complicated! X

Mappa, I'm taking my first sertraline tablet tonight, very scared about taking them but I know people that do take this medication and are them normal selves again, which I long for xx

Hi mappa, so far I've been have sickly spells and a little dizziness but nothing major. I don't feel any different but it's still early days, today is day 4. How r u? X

I am taking Zoloft(sertraline) for my depression and anxiety issues, its a nice medication..

Talking therapy can also help you recovery fast..

I am on Sertraline and have been since January. I also took them about 5 years ago. I did struggle a bit with them this time. I was having really bad night panic attacks and and was getting maybe 2 hours sleep a night. I did feel worse before feeling better. It used to take me a couple of hours to feel properly awake at first and and yawned constantly. Gives me a very dry mouth still. On occasions I do have like little jolts in my body. Compared to the way I felt without them its worth it. I have tried a few different pills and felt like I was on another planet.

Thanks all. I have to say I'm feeling so much better. The side affects have been an upset tummy and I do wake up really early as my brain is so awake but it's really helping!

Hi I started on 25mg of lustral steraline about 2 weeks ago Im starting to lose all side effects such as sicky tummy diahorrea and dizziness Im noticing I can cope or ignore my anxiety alot better most days now im hoping I gets better

Been taking the sertraline for a week now and started with increased anxiety symptoms and panic, hoping this passes quickly and I start feeling like me again soon 😞
