income assistance for anxiety/ depression

Has anyone had to file for income assistance/ disability or anything like that? I am having trouble finding the resources im looking for here in BC. I cant make ends meet working part time but every day is a constant struggle to get by.. I don't know what to do anymore. Help!

Hey, I'm in BC too. I have no idea. I did go on leave from work once but was able to do so becasue of the organization I work for. I have no idea what would happen if I was working a more casual job I could be fired from.

Talk to your doctor becasue you should be able to apply for disability, or for welfare once you stop working 9sadly, it is often the case that you can get more assistance the less work you do, and if you struggle and do your best to work part time you are not rewarded/assisted in any way, which is awful). For any of these though, you will probably need your doctor to fill in forms for you and he/she may know what forms these are and where to start.
