Went doctors today as my anxiety got really bad again , I'm already on sertraline I stopped propranolol but going to start it again but he gave me amitriptlyine 10mg tablets .. Is anyone on these I'm scared to take them , I have to take one at night he said, just scared to take them are they good?

Hi I don't know what these tablets are like but if your taking them at night you will be asleep when they start working so should wake up feeling better. I suffer with aniexty and will do or take anything if it makes me feel better and worry what the tablets etc are going to do after I'm better. What symptons of aniexty do you suffer with. I could tell you all mine but would be here till next year. Stay strong and good luck x

Hi, I am new here. I think they would be to help you sleep. My doc has mentioned these to me but I said my sleep is ok so he did not prescribe them.

I have found them excellent for helping you to sleep. propranalol also I have found beneficial to keep the panic at bay. Good luck!
