Just been on these Citalopram 20mg a week now. When will I notice a difference ? Still feel drained, no energy and not much interest in anything. Under active thyroid too and 50mg of Levo a day also doesn't help. Also is it better to take Citalopram at night time ? Grateful for any feedback / experiences :-)

This will be my third week on it 10 mg..it has helped with my depression, and slightly with my anxiety... They say it takes up to 4 weeks to build up in your system.. I'm hoping it starts soon because my mornings are absolutely horrible with anxiety

hi, im on 40mg citalopram and 75mg thyroxin, the citalopram can take up to 6 weeks to work, sometimes you can feel worse before you feel better. if they are not helping you there are many more different types to try. good luck x
