Scoliosis surgery..

I have had scoliosis for most of my life and back in March I had the surgery which is meant to correct your spine and make it straighter. This worked because my back went from 80 degrees down to 18 degrees but since the operation I have had awful pain and swelling especially around where the screws are. I am quite skinny so there is not much fat between the metal and my muscles so it is rubbing and causing it to swell up but it is a pain in the butt having to live with a stiff and painful back all the time! Has anyone else who has had this surgery, had this problem? please let me know x

I couldn't find a community on scoliosis 😂😕 ahh well I guess it kinda links because it is another source of my anxiety? I'm just clutching at straws here 😂👍🏼 and thanks x

I can only imagine how this would contribute to your anxiety and members will relate to you on anxiety so please keep talking about how it is affecting you so you can get some support

Have you got family & friends that you can talk to about how this is affecting you ?

Also have you spoken to your Doctor & have they offered you any support with your anxiety , if not I would have a word with them
