Hello, everyone. I was wondering if any of you have experienced this. I've had a lot of different symptoms with my anxiety and my latest one seems to be muscle twitches. I get them by my left shoulder/armpit area, and in various other random places. Is this fairly normal? If you would like to read my whole story, visit my previous post.

Muscle Twitches?
Hey there sorry to hear this.. I too been suffering from anxiety for four months now what meds are you on if you don't mind me asking ... And how long you been taking it for
And yea definitely the worst I've ever experienced ... Was wondering my psychiatrist changed my med to lexapro I'm so scared to take it cause of side effects ... How was it the first day I'm thinking what ou might be feeling is from the medication itself and it should be whining down soon and you should be feeling better soon .. I'm it sure if I wanna take it I'm suppose to start on 5mg once a day .. Pls give me your feed back since you started it eight days ago .. Any symptoms let me know much thx
I got muscle twitches after I started on Buspar on my right thigh and left eye and my right hand ... It went away after two weeks I would like to know more on the lexapro your taking and how much mg if possible cause I'm not sure about taking it since I basically have to go cold turkey on Buspar after two months and start this new med pls any info would be greatly appreciated...
Yes I get them in my calves, it's listed as an anxiety symptom
Twitches are very common with those who have anxiety , You can get twitching any where on your body. I have had twitches for over a year, even my tongue twitched
Yes, twitches very common. Don't drive yourself crazy with this. Twitches are benign by themselves . On the other hand you can start worrying if your twitches coincides with a host of other symptoms.
